Local growth. Transparent impact. Shared opportunities.

Partners & Community

Care Collective is free for partners and does not charge commission. At least 10% of the revenue generated through the network goes into a transparent regional community fund. Partners and customers may each choose to contribute more.

Tourism should strengthen the place that makes the journey possible

Care Collective connects travellers with regional hospitals, care professionals, transport providers, restaurants, wellness services, guides, accommodation partners and other local businesses — without charging listing fees or sales commission. At least 10% of the revenue generated through Care Collective goes into a transparent regional community fund.

Partners and customers can choose to contribute more. This creates new work for local providers while keeping part of the tourism revenue in the region. The fund is intended to be developed together with representatives of the local community, local partners and suitable professionals. Care Collective provides the structure and transparency, but should not decide alone how the money is used.

Its first priority is better access to medical care. If a deposit is required after an accident or before necessary treatment, the fund should help overcome this first barrier in clearly defined cases. Further support can then be requested and reviewed through a transparent process.

Why this model can also be fairer for guests

Many booking platforms are funded through commission, which providers often have to include in their prices. Care Collective does not charge sales commission. This means the overall price may remain lower, or at least more transparent, even with the community contribution.

The contribution does not become platform profit; it remains traceable within the region. Its main purpose is to improve access to medical care. Alongside this, future projects are being developed with local partners, including an accessible TukTuk service and the Right Side Project with shared retail and working spaces.

The more guests and partners use the model, the stronger the regional network can become. Booking through Care Collective helps people find suitable services while supporting local care and development.

Why Care Collective was created

Care Collective grew out of experiences where access to treatment after an accident depended on being able to prove private insurance or make an immediate payment. In regions with many international visitors, local people can still face major barriers when they need medical treatment, transport or practical support.

This contradiction should not simply be accepted. Tourism creates considerable economic value. Hospitals, hotels, transport services, restaurants, care providers and local businesses all benefit from international demand. Care Collective aims to create a transparent bridge so that part of this growth also improves access and opportunities for people living locally.

From the beginning, one principle was clear: social impact should come before profit. That is why Care Collective aims to operate as a non-profit organisation, reinvest any surplus fully in its purpose and avoid sales commission.

A platform that works for both sides

Travellers need reliable information and coordinated support. Regional providers need visibility, fair access to international demand and a system that does not remove value from the region through traditional commission.

For travellers

Clearly presented local medical, care, mobility and everyday support services
More information about accessibility, languages and practical limitations
Less uncertainty when coordinating different providers
Transparent prices and realistic service information
Support through the website, the app and later the Concierge Service
Services that can be combined around individual needs instead of many separate searches and conversations — organised transparently through one central channel

For local partners and freelancers

Access to new international customer groups
More predictable demand through supported stays and longer visits
Visibility for smaller businesses and self-employed professionals
No commission paid to Care Collective
Opportunities to develop new accessible and support-focused services
A transparent way to contribute to the region’s social development

How the community impact model works

The value created by a booking should remain visible within the region — from the booking with a local provider to the shared contribution made by partners and customers to the regional community fund. This also applies to app bookings made without the Concierge Service.

Travellers use local services

Guests book medical care, assistance, dining, transport, wellness, accommodation and local experiences directly with regional providers. This gives them better-matched options and clearer local information.

Regional providers receive genuine demand

Local businesses, organisations and self-employed people reach new customer groups and gain more predictable demand. They remain independent, keep direct contact with their customers and pay no sales commission to Care Collective.

Partners and customers contribute at least 10%

At least 10% from every booking goes into the regional community fund. Partners and customers may each choose to increase their contribution. This also applies to app-only bookings without the Concierge Service.

The value improves access to medical care

Using clear criteria, the community fund should help make necessary treatment accessible when people cannot fully pay for it in advance. Additional regional projects are developed alongside this with partners, grants and crowdfunding.

No commission taken as profit

Care Collective funds personal support through the Concierge Service. The platform should cover its own costs without extracting sales commission as profit, so additional value stays in the region.

Regional transparency

Clear records show how much money enters the regional community fund, which amounts were paid out, when they were paid and what they were used for.

Local decision-making

Local people and suitable professionals should decide together how the money is used, following clear criteria. Care Collective provides the structure and transparency for this process.

Example calculation

How quickly regional value can grow

Even a relatively small number of supported travellers can create meaningful value for the region.

Example: 200 guest stays per month

200 guest stays in one month
€100 average local spending per guest per day, excluding flights
an average stay of 15 days — equal to €1,500 in local spending per guest
€300,000 in regional revenue generated by these stays
at least a 10% contribution to the regional community fund

At least 10% goes into the regional community fund. Partners and customers can voluntarily contribute more — including for bookings made through the app without the Concierge Service.

Possible monthly community fund €30,000 Equivalent to €360,000 over twelve months

Other partners

This category is prepared for hotels, airlines, institutional partners, education partners, assistance networks, technology providers and organisations supporting the wider Care Collective system.

Important booking distinction: Hotels, flights and complete travel components are not individual app add-ons. They are organised through a Care Collective journey, the Journey Builder or a concierge-supported enquiry. Flights may be removed from a planned journey, and Concierge support can also be selected without a flight. A complete Care Collective journey cannot currently be added at short notice after someone has already travelled to the region independently.
Verified general and institutional partner profiles will appear here.

A listed partnership does not automatically mean that every service can be booked individually through the app.

Regional development

Community projects in development

Partner services create direct value. Community projects aim to turn part of this growth into infrastructure, jobs and long-term regional opportunities.

Project in development

The Right Side Project is taking shape in Klong Muang as an accessible community hub combining hospitality, local work and shared infrastructure. At its heart are the Shared Shops: fully equipped workspaces, especially for physical therapy and wellness, alongside barbering, beauty, bakery and fitness.

Together with Care Collective, these services are planned to become bookable through the app for everyone – not only Concierge guests, from massages to haircuts. This creates new workspaces, local jobs, greater visibility and direct value for the community.

Mobility concept in development

The TukTuk Network is designed to provide reliable local mobility with TukTuks and minibuses. A day pass of around €3–4 is planned for all-day use, while older local residents would travel free of charge.

Accessible TukTuks with wheelchair ramps and restraint systems are already being developed for the first 100 guests. The model aims to create permanent jobs with above-average pay while exploring a community-focused, self-sustaining non-profit structure.

How partner information is managed

This information explains the directory and is not a list of partner offers. Open the relevant section to see how profiles are structured, reviewed and later updated.

A consistent profile system

Partner profiles are currently created and reviewed manually. Every profile follows the same basic structure so the information remains comparable, accessible and easy to understand.

Later, the same fields can be connected to the Care Collective app and backend. Providers can submit or update information, but a review should still take place before publication.

Care Collective does not want an uncontrolled directory where anyone can publish unverified claims about medical care, accessibility or services.

Manual review during the first phase

While the regional network is being built, profiles are added individually.

Structured submission through the app or portal later

Future submissions through the app or partner portal can use the same profile fields.

No automatic publication

Submitted information should only become public after review and confirmation.

Transparent corrections

Availability, prices and practical limitations must be updated when conditions change.

Built region by region

Krabi is the first region. Over time, a connected Care Collective network is intended to grow in further regions — each with its own verified partners, local services and a transparent community fund shaped within the region.
