Making independent travel possible again — with transparent guidance, care and community by your side.

Care Collective is not a travel provider. We are building a platform that connects individual health, mobility and support needs with accessible local options, clear information and realistic cost overviews — so travel becomes easier to understand, easier to plan and more independent again.

More information about Care Collective

What is Care Collective?

Care Collective is being developed as an independent platform for people who need clearer information, accessible options or additional support when planning a stay abroad. It connects orientation, regional services and personal concierge support in one understandable system.

Understand before deciding

Use the Care Knowledge Library and Access Check to understand health, mobility, insurance, flight and support questions before making a request.

Connect the support you need

Care, transport, accommodation, local services and concierge support can be coordinated around the traveller’s actual situation and the options available in the destination.

Create value locally

Care Collective does not charge partners a commission. Participating partners are asked to place at least 10% of the revenue generated through Care Collective into a transparent regional Community Fund.

Krabi, Thailand is the first destination. The model is designed to grow carefully into other regions only where transparent information, reliable local partnerships and care-aware support can be established.

Care Knowledge Library

The Care Knowledge Library is the orientation layer of Care Collective. It helps users search by question, concern or simple keyword: insurance, cancellation, medication, fit to fly, wheelchair assistance, emergencies, local medical care, specialist access, heat and humidity, care support and when not to travel.

The articles are written to help travellers and relatives understand what should be checked before a supported stay abroad is treated as realistic. The Library does not replace doctors, insurers, emergency services, airlines, legal advisers or official authorities.

Important: The Care Knowledge Library is general orientation and may still be under editorial, medical, legal or insurance-related review. It is not medical advice, insurance advice, legal advice or emergency guidance.

For many people, travel does not begin with the question, where do I want to go? It begins much earlier. Can I even travel safely? Medical needs, mobility, accessible accommodation, food requirements, language barriers, transport, support on-site. Every detail can become a risk when information is unclear.

Care Collective was created to make this journey understandable again. A transparent online platform connected with app support and WhatsApp assistance brings trusted information into one clear system. First, people can inform themselves freely.

Then, if they need more support, they can add personal planning, coordination, and on-site guidance in their own language. We begin with one destination where local contacts, services, and accessibility have already been checked and connected. From there, Care Collective can grow carefully into other locations where the same level of safety and transparency is possible.

This creates organic growth. As transparency gives more people the confidence to travel, local demand grows with them. Accessible transport, care support, wellness, medical services, hospitality, translation, and personal assistance can become real jobs and new services.

This is how confidence returns. Through low threshold, direct access to the information and support people need before they make a decision. Step-by-step, from home to flight, from arrival to care, the journey becomes visible, understandable, and easier to trust.

With a clear path instead of uncertainty, Care Collective does not take commission. The goal is to build an independent, fair, and transparent network, and to encourage partners to place the value they would normally pay as commission or part of the growth created through us into a shared community fund.

Where partners offer benefits, our mission is to turn that value back toward the local community, into social and medical access for people who may not have insurance or private care.

So travel, care, and community can become one circular system. Visitors gain confidence, local services grow, and the destination becomes stronger for everyone. Care Collective. Because care should not stop with the traveler. It should strengthen the place that welcomes them.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Care Collective. Care Collective is the first platform created to make travel accessible, stress-free, and truly supportive for older adults and for people living with health-related limitations. Our concierge service is there to support you throughout the process.

Care Collective will initially be available in English, German, French, and Thai. The platform offers a wide range of support options. Through our strong network across the region, we are able to coordinate every stage of your journey seamlessly.

Whether you are traveling with medical requirements, planning a longer stay or retirement, looking for diagnostics and checkups, preparing for a scheduled treatment, or organizing aftercare following illness or an accident, Care Collective helps create the right conditions for a safe and well-supported journey.

And for those with more individual concerns, including specialized support or palliative care, we also provide access to the right connections and services. One of the key features of the platform is the Journey Designer.

Here, you can explore a broad selection of accommodations across different price categories, build a package tailored to your personal situation, and enjoy fully coordinated travel planning, from your doorstep in your home country to your destination and back again.

Additional services can be booked individually or combined into a package. These include mobile care support, even for only a few minutes a day, mobility assistance, and the coordination of treatments, appointments, and diagnostics before and during your trip.

To make the experience even more complete, Care Collective also includes carefully selected options from trusted partners such as guided excursions, wellness and spa treatments, aromatherapy, and other supportive services that can be added easily and flexibly.

How does it work? First, choose your journey by exploring the available options in the Journey Designer. Second, create your individual package by selecting the services and experiences you need. Third, we coordinate everything and respond within 24 hours with a tailored offer for your confirmation.

And finally, you arrive knowing that your journey has been prepared with care and that support is there whenever you need it. Our mission is human-centered care.

With Care Collective, we want to create something truly new, a form of travel support that has not existed like this before. And we are proud to begin in Krabi as the first destination for this new kind of care-focused travel experience.

How to Request a Personalized Care Journey?

This video demonstrates the future Care Collective Journey Designer and how users can create a personalized care and travel request.

Welcome to the Care Collective Journey Designer. Today, we follow Jane Doe as she creates her personal care travel journey. Before Jane chooses hotels, flights, or services, one thing is already included, the Care Collective concierge service.

This is the only service Jane cannot deselect, and for a good reason. When someone travels for care, support should be available from the very first moment. Once Jane arrives, she is connected immediately. She receives internet access, can contact her loved ones, and can reach the Care Collective service team at any time through WhatsApp.

But before the journey can be built, the system first needs to understand who Jane is. So, Jane starts with her profile. She adds her personal details, language, contact information, and the most important health and support information. This includes mobility, assistance needs, medication, allergies, food requirements, and anything the team should know before she arrives.

It is not about making Jane fill out a complicated medical form. It is about preparing the journey properly. Support, travel, and care can work together from the beginning. Jane could also add another traveler profile here. For example, for a partner, a family member, or friends traveling with her, especially if they have different support needs.

After the profile, Jane moves to the flight section. Here, she defines how and from where she wants to travel. The Journey Designer offers different routing options because not every care journey is simple. For many guests, one very long flight can be exhausting. So, in some cases, two shorter flights may be more comfortable and easier to manage.

For more complex cases, Jane can also request information about private charter flights or medically accompanied flights. These options always require individual consultation because they depend on the medical situation, travel route, and level of support needed. Jane can also choose her flight class, just like with a regular airline.

Once route and class are selected, Jane can move into the hotel and accommodation options. Now, the system knows who Jane is, what support she may need, and how she wants to travel. Now, Jane chooses where she wants to stay.

The Journey Designer shows different hotel and room options. With images, short descriptions, and estimated pricing, she can compare options, open details, and select what fits her needs. The system also remembers the information Jane entered earlier. For example, an accommodation without stairs or a room with a larger bathroom might be useful for her.

After accommodation, Jane can add support services. This includes nursing services, diagnostics and checkups, medical coordination, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, personal care, pharmacy support, and other assistance options. Each service can be opened, configured, and adapted.

This is where the Journey Designer becomes more than a travel form. It becomes a coordination tool. Jane can define what she needs, when she needs it, how often she needs it, and who it applies to. The costs are shown transparently and are added directly to the total calculation for Jane's stay.

Optional services can be removed again at any time or added later during the stay if Jane needs extra support once she is already on site. So, Jane stays in control without having to calculate everything manually. That way, Jane can adjust her journey without losing track of the overall plan.

Then we move to transport and mobility. Airport pickup, local shuttle, assisted mobility, day tickets, private transport, and accessibility-related options can be added. This matters because the journey does not begin at the hotel lobby. It begins when Jane leaves home.

Care Collective can also help organize transfers from Jane's home address to the airport. That is one of the reasons why becoming a member can be useful. The journey can be supported earlier, not only after arrival. The Journey Designer keeps these steps connected.

Jane can also choose the meal package that fits her stay. She can keep it simple with breakfast only or select half board or full board if she wants more structure during the day. And with Care Collective vouchers, Jane can save 10% on selected food and partner services.

After that, she can add wellness, activities, and additional services. Massages, spa treatments, fitness, beauty treatments, excursions, and personal preferences can be selected where appropriate. The goal is not to turn medical travel into a luxury shopping cart. The goal is to combine necessary care with quality of life.

For many people, it is essential to know in advance whether an activity, treatment, or excursion is accessible. After Jane's guided selection tour, she can review everything she has chosen. If she wants to change something, she still can.

Care Collective wants travel to become possible again for people with special requirements. Less guessing, less stress, everything from one place, but still independent, transparent, and as simple as possible.

After Jane entered her contact information, she submits the request. Jane then sees that her request is being processed. The system gives her a clear next step and a countdown for partner confirmation. This keeps expectations realistic.

Once providers confirm, Jane can review the available offers. She can compare confirmed options, choose what she wants to include, and continue to checkout. The selected services appear in the order summary, so Jane understands what she is paying for.

Payment can be simulated through options like PayPal, bank transfer, or card payment. K-Pay should also become available in the future. After checkout, Jane receives her booking confirmation by email. But the journey does not end with a confirmation link.

The next step is the Care Collective app. Jane can download it using the QR code on the screen. Then she creates her personal PIN. This PIN is important during the journey, especially if Jane wants to book additional paid services through WhatsApp.

So, even after the booking is complete, Jane stays connected, supported, and able to manage her journey in one place. Everything from one place. As simple as possible. Built for people with special requirements who deserve the best possible service. Care Collective. Connecting care, travel, and community.
